The Lamb Forequarter has always been my favourite cut. The boned and butterflied version which Middlehurst is providing is absolutely delectable…..so, so tender, succulent and flavoursome. And so easy to prepare and cook slowly with nothing but Rock Salt and Rosemary, so as to be able to savour the mouth watering flavour. AND, of course, so easy to carve with the absence of Bones! We really enjoy the flavour, and tenderness of this cut, ii love the amount of fat on it, and it cooks up very well in the crockpot. It is just the right size for four servings. Just the best! Thank you Lyndy
Tender, tasty, succulent and delicious!
I have stopped even looking at alternative lamb sources, if you have never tasted the merino from Middlehurst delivered then you have not lived, I have purchased the traditional box and the modern cut box and like them equally. The butterflied shoulder is a great example of a fantastic cut of meat...so versatile and delicious.
